Interactive Installation
An interactive floor designed to allow visitors to create their own paintings based on Preca’s abstract pieces.
The installation generates brushstrokes over a projected canvas on the floor by tracking the person’s movement in real time.

Audio-visual Projection
An immersive story brings to life paintings from Giorgio Preca’s the ‘Inhabitants of the Moon’ series. 3D assets were created from each painting and animated into a series of scenarios depicting the narratives behind every painting.

Self-Portrait Animation
An abstract, self-portrait painting was scanned to achieve a high-resolution image which could be separated into individual elements and animated to create a visual illustration of the painting’s composition.

Animation
Smaller narratives revolving around particular elements of Giorgio Preca’s paintings where illustrated through fantastical animations based on the curators direction.
