The digitisation team at Heritage Malta required a fresh design for their stand that would attract students studying in digital arts and similar courses to apply for internships with the newly established department.
The design created showcases the various technologies that the department makes use of and incorporates digital assets created by them with a youthful design language.
A virtual reality game based on World War 2 anti-aircraft scenario developed alongside the Digitisation Department intended to better captivate the student audience.
The environment was constructed from optimised aerial photogrammetry scans and populated with 3D digital assets from the department’s repository.
A custom rig was built for the VR controllers to emulate the gun’s physical form and mechanics making for a truly immersive game.
